Biography

👋🏼 I’m Alicia, a rising Senior at Columbia University studying Film, with concentrations in Business and Stats. I care about telling stories that move people and building spaces where those stories can spark something real.

At Columbia, I started Brand Summit, a 300+ person and growing platform bringing together students, storytellers and people working across brands and new media. I’m also building Pulse, a student-run digital go-to-market agency working with brands on creative strategy and audience growth.

Outside of school, I direct short films My most recent being Graduation with guidance from filmmaker Tony Bui.

Previously, I worked in Revenue & Strategy at HBO Max, where I became interested in how content, audiences and distribution shape one another. More recently, I worked at Strategy& on growth and value creation.

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about the future of media...how stories travel, how technology changes the way we create, and what becomes more valuable as the barriers to creation fall.

Let's connect!

“Alicia takes initiative with any project sent her way, proactively researching and taking ownership of deliverables. She is intellectually curious and keen to understand the ‘why,’ and when faced with ambiguity, she quickly assesses the options, chooses the best path forward independently, and clearly communicates her rationale. Many employees made an effort to reach out to me directly to comment on her impressive questions, preparation, and professionalism. She has demonstrated the capacity to steer large projects with strong collaboration skills, and I believe she is ready to take on more.”

— Kerrie Head, Manager, HBO Max Distribution

“Alicia possesses that same spark and palpable potential I have seen in young artists who have gone on to become prolific writers, directors, producers, and storytellers. Her voice is evident both in person and through the screen. Undeniably charismatic, self-motivated, and effortlessly proactive, I believe her future is bright.”

— Ron Howard, Founder of Imagine Entertainment
